"Mindfulness of Mind" - A Half-Day Online Retreat
June 25, 2022
Alameda Sangha presents a meditation and teaching retreat on Zoom from 10 am to 2 pm, June 25, 2022, led by Rebecca Dixon and Deb Kerr, with ASL interpreters. The retreat will focus on the Third Foundation of Mindfulness. Mindfulness enables us to know and influence the ways our minds work, and to choose states of mind that lead to happiness.
In this way, Mindfulness of Mind is both a way to develop wisdom and a compassionate form of self-care. Deb and Rebecca will explore how this works through dharma talks, guided meditation and discussion. Deb Kerr and Rebecca Dixon serve as Alameda Sangha's guiding teachers. Learn more about them on our Teachers page. To participate in this retreat, please fill out this registration form. About a week before the retreat, we will email registered participants with the Zoom login and other retreat information. We are grateful to our teachers and to our ASL interpreters for making this retreat accessible to our entire community. The information email will include include how to practice mindful generosity, or dana, for our teachers and to donate to our ASL interpreters. We look forward to seeing you. |
